Tehran is prepared to restart atomic discussions with the United States as long as it is treated with "respect" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has declared.

Abbas Araghchi said exclusively dialogue was effective, and disclosed recent overtures had been made by mediators to resume discussions with the Trump administration. He said Iran possessed no secret atomic facilities, and Iran could not yet allow the global atomic watchdog to access struck enrichment centers for safety concerns.

Walking a Difficult Route

Araghchi is treading a challenging route since Iran aims to avoid appear to be operating from a stance of disadvantage, and he emphatically stated that Iran had emerged more powerful defensively and mentally from the joint assault on its enrichment centers in June.
