This January transfer market is always a period of significant speculation and potential major deals. A number of prominent players find themselves linked with transfers away from their present clubs. This article explores some of the major names who could be changing clubs in January.

This experienced German shot-stopper finds himself as third-choice at Barça following the manager Flick. After fallen out of favour and had an operation, a January exit looks increasingly probable. Aston Villa were once mentioned as a potential suitor, but that option now appears unlikely. Instead, clubs from Turkey and Saudi Arabia are reportedly expressing interest in the 33-year-old.

Following impressing at the Under-19 European Championship, he has broken into the AZ Alkmaar side. The 19-year-old is widely tipped to make a major transfer this month.
